Adoption Centre: Our reception area has a bank of kennels that are used to house adult cats and kittens from the SPCA for adoption.   We feel it is important to help with the problem of stray cats in our community.  The veterinarians at the Clinic for Cats examine these cats for any disease first, they are treated for fleas, dewormed, spayed/neutered, and tattooed at cost to the SPCA.  Our staff takes care of these homeless cats every day and on their own time.  It is rewarding for us to help find homes for these cats. 

Our veterinary hospital has a large inventory of safe, effective flea control products like Program, Advantage, Revolution, and Ovicollar.  We promote health care by offering premium diets designed for activity levels, previous illnesses, and life stage.  Our diets include Medi-Cal Veterinary Diets,  Hills Prescription Veterinary Diets, and Innovative Veterinary Diets.  We encourage you to spend time grooming your cat and providing home dental care so we carry a number of grooming tools and dentrifices.We are equipped with a dental unit and dental area.  All cats under anesthesia are monitored by doppler cardiac/blood pressure units.   We are set-up for soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. 

Our veterinarians are Dr. Colin Jerome and Dr. Catherine Maloney.  Dr. Jerome is a 1991 graduate of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. Dr. Maloney is a 1996 graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College in P.E.I.  Our veterinarians enjoy the close relationship they share with their patients and clients.  Dr. Maloney has received an award for outstanding ability in feline surgery from the American Association of  Feline Practitioners.
